Founder
Christopher Storaker
Christopher founded Storaker Advisory to work with banks on the practical decisions behind digital asset businesses: where to focus, what to build, and how to get it running.
His background spans strategy, fintech, payments, and digital assets. At BCG, he worked with financial institutions and helped incubate new businesses. At Bakkt, he was embedded from concept, helping shape the product vision and go-to-market and serving as acting Chief of Staff to the CEO. At MACH, he helped take a banking platform from inception through launch and supported its growth from one million to three million users.
He then cofounded and led Arch.Finance, a self-custodial digital asset investing platform. As CEO, he built a team, developed tokenized investment strategies, and led across product, operations, and compliance. The platform reached more than 10,000 users during his tenure.
Through Storaker Advisory, Christopher advises a major Latin American bank on digital asset strategy and implementation. The work has included defining the operating model, supporting vendor implementation, and launching a stablecoin-based cross-border payment service for wholesale and business banking.
Technical depth, from infrastructure to applications.
Christopher’s technical experience spans custody and self-custody, compliance workflows, smart contracts, and DeFi vaults. At Arch.Finance, he architected and operated tokenized investment strategies on a self-custodial platform. The practice brings that understanding to product architecture, integrations, and on-chain development work.

As Converge Editor at The Defiant, Christopher covers the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets through a newsletter and podcast. His focus is on what becomes possible when assets, services, and markets connect in new ways.
Christopher holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and degrees in economics and industrial engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and has spoken at MIT IIA Web3, ETH Chile, and Blockchain Summit LatAm.
